Vehicle:  1966 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible
Engine:  318cubic inch V-8 - Automatic Transmission
Owner:  Frank & Karen Draskovic, West Middlesex, PA

Although not the orginal owner, Frank has owned this Plymouth for twenty years.  It has been restored, with Frank doing 90% of the work.
This model was updated for 1966 and the Sport Fury served as the top of the line for Plymouth that year.  Features such as bucket seats and a center console were only availble on the Sport Fury.  This is one of 3418 Sport Fury convertibles produced in 1966.
The car has had two owners, spending most of its life in Arizona, until purchased (1990) and brought to Pennsylvania in 1995. This Sport Fury has taken top honors in AACA Senior and Grand National events since its “frame-off” restoration which was started in 1997 and completed in May of 2001.
If this car looks familiar to you, you may remember seeing it as the lead car in the Mercer Memorial Day 500 parade for the past number of years.  Frank and the Sport Fury have had the privilege of transporting one of the honorees in those parades.
