Flag raising by Boy Scout Troup #83.The band opened with "Hooray for Hollywood".Dedicated musicians make the band a success.Joshua Haggerty, xylophone soloist.Mr. Haggerty presented "The Golden Age of Xylophone".Mr. Haggerty's talents were well-appreciated by the audience.Mr. Haggerty was joined by Jim Bennington, Johnny Zanot, Carol Schmider, Rob Heichel, and Dr. Hendley Hoge for "Hi- Hat" on the cymbals.Assistant Director, Ken Jewell conducted the band for "Hi-Hat".Mr. Ken Jewell, Assistant DirectorA large audience enjoyed the great music and weather.Mr. Joel Gould, Assistant (Student) Director, led the band for "Steppen' Out With My Baby".Joel Gould received a plaque for his service to the band.Kelly Horan, soprano - Vocal Soloist.Ms. Horan performed "Highlights from 'The King and I'.Ms. Horan also entertained with "Habanera"."Over the Rainbow" concluded an outstanding performance my Ms. Horan.The final MCB concert of the summer was capped off with delicious cake for the musicians, band staff and families.Thanks to Cindy and Bob Murdock for the work on the great cakes.
