State Street Jazz - Warm-up entertainmentThe group features MCB Jazz Band member, Any Erb, on trumpet.Special thanks to the Mt. Calvary Commandry #67 for assisting in the colors presentation."The Star Spangled Banner" sung by Jodi Miklas, soprano.The band's second selection was "Peg O' My Heart".Once again, approximately 100 musicians were on hand for the concert.Jon Olsson bass trombone - guest intrumental soloist.Mr. Olsson presented variations of "Barnacle Bill the Sailor".The audience enjoyed the humorous selection and Mr. Olsson's talent.Great weather and great music were enjoyed by the large crowd.Assistant Director, Mr. Doug Butchy, who is also Director of Bands at Shenango High School.Mr. Butchy conducted "The Entertainer" and "March of the Belgian Paratroopers".Ice cream social by Eastern Star Chapter #180.Another perfect Mercer evening.Breanne Kochunas, soprano, - Vocal soloist.Ms. Kochunas was also the vocal soloist for the MCB Holiday Concert in December.Breanne entertained the audience with "Broadway Spectacular", a medley of Broadway tunes.Ms. Kochunas also presented  "For Good" from "Wicked" - a special Samson arrangement.The evening's Sing-a-Long was "The Band Played On".
