Opening entertainment by Jim Moran.Ice Cream Social by Mercer High School Band Boosters.National Anthem -Colors raised by Boy Scout Troop #83.The band opened with "Opus One".The brass section at work.Trumpet solo by Andy Erb.The saxophone section was featured on a number of selections.Sax solo by Doug Butchy.Guest vocalist, Steve  Fazzini.Mr. Fazzini braved the rain drops to sing "Fly Me to the Moon".Mr. Fazzini also sang the Bobby Darin favorite, "Beyond the Sea".The band did their best with the rain also.  Thankfully, it did not last long.Mr. Fazzini entertained with "New York, New York" and follwed up with an encore of it near the end of the concert.The audience came prepared with umbrellas and enjoyed the concert in spite of the weather.The band members really enjoyed playing "Get It On".Up close and personal with the band.Dr. Hendley D. Hoge, in his 35th year as director, led the band through its paces.Many present and former high school and college band directors make up much of the band.Doug Butchy's saxophone solo was outstanding on "What I Did For Love".The weather kept some people away, but those who were there saw a great concert.The band wrapped up the concert with "In the Mood".
