George & Jodi Miklas (and their daughter) provided the warm-up entertainment
Mercer Boro Council President, Jerry Johnson, provided a brief history of Mercer's first 200 years
The audience joined the band and Jessica Moose for the playing and singing of the National Anthem
Another large crowd was on hand to hear
the band's version of That's Entertainment
Trumpet solist, Royce Hetrick
Mr. Hetrick thrilled the audience with
Napoli - Variations on a Neopolitan Song
MCB members, Rita Ferrere and Mike Schreck
joined Mr. Hetrick for Trumpets Wild
The brass section was featured in I Love a Sousa March
Band members, Jim Bennington and Cheri Runninger presented Dr. Hoge with a plaque in recognition of his 26 years of band leadership
Tenor soloist, Dr. Frank Cano, received a standing ovation for Medley from "The Three Tenors" and Granada before leading the audience in the singing of God Bless America
The Courthouse Square March was presented
in honor of Mercer's 200th anniversary
As darkness began to fall on another successful MCB concert series, the band finished with Sousa's
Stars and Stripes Forever
