Kenneth Jewell

Kenneth Jewell currently is the Principal of Wilmington High School in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Before moving to Wilmington, he had been assistant principal at Reynolds High School. Previously he was the Director of Instrumental Music at Commodore Perry High School for seven years, Assistant Director of Bands in the Greenville Area School District and taught instrumental music for six years in the Charles County Pulic Schools located in metropolitan Washington, DC.

A native of Mercer, Mr. Jewell graduated from Mercer High school in 1988.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Education Administration from Westminster College.  He is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.  He has been a member of the Mercer Community Band for the past twenty three years, performing on percussion, woodwinds, and brass.

Mr. Jewell lives in Mercer with his wife Jennifer and children Matthew and Maggie.
