Throckmorton entertained the audience prior to the MCB concert
Jessica Moose led the group in the
singing of the National Anthem
The band began the concert with Bright Lights on Broadway
Dr. Hendley D. Hoge in his 26th year as
Director of the Mercer Community Band
Richard Van Diefenderfer, clarinet soloist,
was a big hit with the crowd
The entire clarinet section joined Mr. Diefenderfer in the Clarinet Polka, a favorite with the crowd
Assistant Director, Ken Jewell,directed the
band in selections from The Music Man
Guest vocal soloist, Dr. Anne Bentz
entertained with a variety of selections
Dr. Bentz led the audience in the traditional sing-a-long
Heather McConnell conducted the band in her
first concert as the Assistant (Student) Director
